It is with immense excitement and gratitude that I announce that THORN will make its debut at the 2026 imagineNATIVE Film + Media Arts Festival! The team at Oshki Games and I are deeply thankful to everyone who has supported THORN on this journey.

You’ll be able to experience THORN in person as part of the Digital + Interactive Works at the iNdigital Space + Arcade, held at the TIFF Lightbox Gallery from June 3–7, 2026. Learn more about the festival here:

THORN is a third-person psychological horror digital art installation made possible with the generous help of BC Arts Council and Creative BC. THORN uses fear, silence, and transformation as powerful metaphors, reflecting themes of loss, survival, and the journey to reclaim what was taken—all within a digital world. A single participant guides their avatar through a quietly shifting digital landscape. Rooted in a personal story of reclaiming Indigenous identity, the THORN uses unease, symbolism, and atmospheric transformation as tools for emotional storytelling. Thorne blurs the line between personal narrative, gaming, digital art, and psychological horror.
