I’m thrilled to announce that THORN will be available in person at the 2026 imagineNATIVE Film + Media Arts Festival in Toronto, June 3rd to 7th.
THORN is presented as an intimate, interactive digital art installation that invites you to step into a dark, immersive environment where your own exploration shapes the experience. This installation is designed to be felt firsthand—combining atmosphere, tension, and interactivity in ways that can only be truly appreciated in person.

I am truly honoured to showcase THORN as part of imagineNATIVE’s Digital + Interactive programming, alongside an inspiring lineup of Indigenous artists, filmmakers, game developers, and media creators from around the world.
If you’ll be at imagineNATIVE this June 3rd to the 7th, I warmly invite you to stop by, take a seat, put on the headphones, and enter the world of THORN.

THORN is a third-person psychological horror digital art installation made possible with the generous help of BC Arts Council and Creative BC. THORN uses fear, silence, and transformation as powerful metaphors, reflecting themes of loss, survival, and the journey to reclaim what was taken—all within a digital world. A single participant guides their avatar through a quietly shifting digital landscape. THORN draws inspiration from a personal journey of reclaiming Indigenous identity, using unease, symbolism, and shifting atmospheres to create a powerful emotional experience. THORN blurs the line between personal narrative, gaming, digital art, and psychological horror.
